Ramadan Mubarak! This is certainly going to be a unique time to celebrate the month of Ramadan amidst the COVID19 pandemic. Here is a fun Ramadan countdown craft with step by step pictures.
Each pillow box contains candy and a good deed for the day. Hopefully the kiddo will enjoy opening a box each of the 30 days of the month and it will make the month feel special!

Materials needed:
- 8 sheets card-stock (8.5 x 11 in)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Printed numbers and deeds (Numbers Link and Good Deeds Link)
- Round object (CD, can etc.)

| Fold card stock sheet hamburger |

| Cut in half | 
|  | 
| Fold each half in half again | 
|  | 
| Cut in half. You should have 4 quarter sheets. |

| Fold about half an inch in on one side of a quarter sheet | 
|  | 
| Then fold the other edge up to the folded inside edge | 
|  | 
| Add glue to the outside of the folded edge | 
|  | 
| Glue the folded edge to the inside of the card-stock | 
|  | 
| And flatten down firmly | 
|  | 
| Put round object to edge and mark outline on both sides | 
|  | 
| Then cut both sides | 
|  | 
| Then use sharp end of something like this pencil to push down really hard around edge of round object | 
|  | 
| Like so. It should be dented in deeply for pocket to work. Repeat on both sides. |

| Fold all pockets outwardly | 
|  | 
| Then fold them inwardly | 
|  | 
| Like so |

| Make 30 boxes | 
|  | 
| Cut the numbers | 
|  | 
| Then cut the good deeds | 
|  | 
| Glue the numbers on | 
|  | 
| Fill each box with candy and the good deed paper | 
|  |
